Dopo un mese di marzo conclusosi con veri e propri fuochi d’artificio grazie a Ni No Kuni II: Il Destino di un Regno e Far Cry 5 il mercato videoludico prosegue e con aprile si ritorna a parlare di grandi titoli.
Si incomincia subito dal terzo giorno del mese con Bluehole che ritorna con un nuovo titolo MMORPG, Tera, nel quale dovremo lottare per proteggere dai demoni la Federazione Valkyon, un’alleanza delle razze che vivono sul mondo dove è ambientata la vicenda,
A distanza di una settimana, il 10 aprile, ci penseranno i ragazzi di Iron Galaxy Studios a portarci in un mondo decisamente unico dove i combattimenti contro gli orchi saranno all’ordine del giorno. Stiamo parlando di Extinction, un action game in terza persona dove, per salvare la razza umana, dovremo sterminare una serie di orchi giganti.
Lo stesso giorno sarà il turno anche del secondo DLC di Call of Duty: WWII, chiamato La Macchina da Guerra, questa nuova espansione porterà come sempre nuovi contenuti all’interno del gioco tra cui tre nuove mappe per il multiplayer Egypt, Dunkirk e V2, una per la modlaità guerra chiamata Operation Huskey ed infine l’ambientazione per la modalità Zombie The Shadowed Throne.
Ma è una settimana dopo che il nostro aprile vedrà accendersi con altri capolavori annunciati, il 17 infatti sarà finalmente il turno di Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. Dopo esser già uscito da diversi mesi in Giappone il capitolo di finale di Kazuma Kiryu approda finalmente anche in Europa portando tutta la libertà e la bellezza delle storie dedicate al Dragone di Dojima.
Neanche il tempo di concludere il prologo di Yakuza 6: The Song of Life che Sony irrompe prepotentemente nel mercato con l’ultimo capitolo di God of War. Non penso ci sia bisogno di presentazioni per Kratos, Santa Monica Studio ci porterà all’interno di un avventura unica che vedrà protagonisti proprio Kratos e suo figlio Atreus in un capitolo della serie che cerca di portare innovazione cercando di distaccarsi sotto diversi punti di vista dai predecessori.
Qualche giorno più tardi, il 24 aprile, sarà il turno di The Sword of Ditto un interessante action GDR ispirato a classici come Zelda con livelli generati proceduralmente e una grafica cartoon sviluppato dai ragazzi di One Bit Beyond.
Si chiude il mese con Nintendo Switch protagonista che vedrà prima, il 26 aprile, approdare sull’eShop la Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy, con la possibilità di riassaporare le gesta del Ninja di Konoa e compagni anche in modalità portatile e poi una delle star del mese, ossia Nintendo Labo, disponibile dal 27 aprile. La nuova esperienza interattiva della compagnia nipponica che ci porterà ad utilizzare del cartone per dar vita a minigiochi sulla console grazie al Kit Robot e al Kit Assortito.
